Osla Jamwal-Fraser was brought up on a croft on the Westside of Shetland. She has been passionate about food and drink all her life. For 17 years she lived and worked in Italy, where she is a translator and copywriter for the food and wine sector, as well as being a sommelier. She has a keen interest in food provenance, heritage and the Slow Food Movement. She has now moved back to Shetland, where she is a tireless advocate for local provenance and sustainable food production.
